Exercise 1 — Resonance Calibration#

Setup:
- Choose a simple harmonic oscillator (physical pendulum, spring, or simulation).
- Measure its natural frequency ( f_0 ).

- Apply a small perturbation and record the system’s return to equilibrium.
- Note changes in amplitude, phase, and damping.

- Write 3–5 sentences explaining your choice.
