Portal to RTT
Purpose of the Portal#
The portal serves as the app’s outward‑facing link to RTT content. It is designed to:
- Give users a clear entry point into RTT documentation.
- Maintain continuity between the app’s Awareness model and the RTT website.
- Provide a stable, predictable navigation experience.
- Avoid permissions, embedded browsers, or complex routing.
The portal does not attempt to replicate the RTT website; it simply connects to it.
Portal Structure#
The portal consists of a small set of elements:
- Primary link to the RTT homepage or documentation index.
- Contextual description explaining what RTT is and why the link exists.
- Optional deep links to Awareness‑related documentation.
- Consistent visual placement within the app’s UI.
The structure remains minimal to avoid overwhelming new users.
Navigation Behavior#
The portal follows platform‑native navigation rules:
- Opens RTT content in the system browser.
- Does not embed web views or require additional permissions.
- Preserves the user’s place in the app when returning.
- Avoids any form of tracking or analytics.
This ensures a clean separation between the app and the website.
Visual Integration#
The portal is integrated into the UI in a way that complements the Awareness indicator:
- Appears on the main screen below the indicator.
- Uses neutral, stable visual styling.
- Does not animate or draw attention away from the indicator.
- Remains accessible without dominating the layout.
The design reinforces the app’s calm, ambient posture.
Content Expectations#
The portal links to content that:
- Explains RTT concepts at a high level.
- Provides access to deeper documentation for interested users.
- Matches the terminology used in the app.
- Remains stable across versions.
The app does not attempt to interpret or summarize RTT content internally.
Future Extensions#
The portal design leaves room for future enhancements:
- Optional deep links for RTT‑Inside users.
- Context‑aware links based on Awareness state.
- Expanded navigation for multi‑platform RTT experiences.
These extensions will not alter the core v1 behavior.
